LoBenn’s commercial Grade product design brings a high level of capability to the private residence. Able to work with any alarm format and monitoring protocol, the LoBenn system is ideally suited for use with both currently installed alarm panels and new systems. And, there is no requirement to change any equipment at either the end user or monitoring site. LoBenn’s solution adds value to residential monitoring on multiple levels:

• VoIP – 100% compatible, in fact LoBenn guarantees that your alarms will get through on your IP connection.
• Line Supervision – with Active Communications (defined under Commercial Fire), LoBenn’s products ensure that if your communications line is cut that the central station will know in as little as 30 seconds.
• Remote Panel Access – ability for central station to upgrade and program your panel without interfering with your private phone line.

Important Note: many residential customers are switching to VoIP to reduce their long distance expense. It is IMPERATIVE to be aware that most Alarm Panels DO NOT work over IP. It is often deceiving to the installer, who will hear dial tone, the panel will connect to the monitoring station, but then the line drops, and the alarms never get through.
