Increase Base Level of Service to All Customers

The LoBenn system allows any current dial up alarm installation to be inexpensively upgraded to a fully monitored “leased line” level service. The service increase is without the associated leased-line cost and using your existing data communication lines.

Any Panel, Any Format

LoBenn does not alter or interpret the data from a control panel, which means there is no protocol limitation on the data. If the data can be sent on conventional phone lines, then LoBenn can send the data. The receiver then receives the data normally, even though it is delivered through the Internet.

Redundancy - Safe and Easy

The very nature of the Internet removes physical location restrictions from any emergency preparedness plan. LoBenn Servers are in constant contact with the LNIs at the customer site. If a server loses connectivity, the LNI attempts to restore contact for the number of times defined by the Monitoring Center. The LNI will then attempt to contact the next IP address on the list (up to eight) until contact is established.

Ease of Implementation

The LoBenn Universal approach allows any Monitoring Center to upgrade to “Internet Capable” with the simple addition of an inexpensive LoBenn LNS 10xx. The entire installation can be done in minutes. Plug in the server, hook up the Internet, connect some phone line jumpers, and the system is ready to start receiving internet alarms in its factory default configuration. Many settings are then adjustable to meet each customer’s unique requirements.

The LNI 2000 is small and simple and allows any Alarm Service Provider to upgrade their customers to Internet Monitoring without the time and costs associated with changing control panels or keypads. Simply plug the Control Panel into the LNI 2000, connect the phone lines, power and Internet, punch in a target IP address and internet monitoring has begun.

No Inventory Nightmares

The universal LNI 2000 connects to any panel, anywhere. This flexibility means that there is no expensive inventory sitting in a warehouse or technician’s van waiting for a customer with an appropriate panel to request the service.
