Commercial Burglary

Burglary of commercial premises is not uncommon. As a general rule commercial premises contain high value merchandise or technology and additionally tend not to be occupied overnight making them even more vulnerable.

Many precautions are taken to ensure the safety and security of your premises. The level of intrusion detection security for your premises is determined by the sophistication of the alarm system and the number of devices installed. Detection devices are installed to identify intruders. Magnetic contacts on doors and windows to secure the premises, Glass break sensors detect when a window is broken, Vibration and impact sensors will sense unusual activities, and motion detectors ensure early detection.

All of the above assume that your connection to the Central Monitoring Station is intact. Only Active Communication will guarantee that communication exists between the panel and the Monitoring Station. If that communication link is severed at any time the monitoring station will be immediately notified. The requirement for redundant communication paths to the monitoring station is thereby eliminated. Active Communication not only results in a more secure system but also can save monthly costs with the elimination of a secondary communications path to the Central Station.

The LoBenn solution meets and exceeds the Standard For Receiving Centre and Premise Burglar Alarm Control Units (CAN/ULC-304-06) as set by the Underwriters Laboratories Canada. The products have Active Communication as set by ULC for the Fire Panel standard ULC S559-04. Commercial, Industrial and Institutional premises can now guarantee that if an alarm is sounded it will be received by the Monitoring Station.

The LoBenn solution is the only certified industry product that supports IP technology for any panel and any format. Companies currently using leased lines will see significant savings immediately, often showing a return on investment within a few months. Small and Medium companies that are using dial up lines can free those lines up for voice service use.

Any panel can be converted to an IP solution giving leased line service at a fraction of the cost of changing the current panels.
